HP Storageworks b2000s and Folder quotas

Hi,

We've recently received and started playing with an HP b2000s Storageworks system. One of the features of the system is the ability to do quotas on folders - which Windows 2003 server cannot do natively. I'm really keen to use this feature on our other file servers (mainly Windows 2000 Servers but can be upgraded to 2003 if necessary).

Does anyone have any information on the add-in/software that HP are using to do the folder quotas? Is it possible to purchase/download separately and install to other Windows systems?

There is no component/software added by HP for directory quotas. It is a new feature offered by Microsoft on Windows Storage Server (WSS) and Windows Server 2003.

Actually I've since found it's only available in Windows Storage Server 2003, not Windows server 2003. No worries, there are third-party utils out there that can do the same thing.
