HP Surestore J3278A
I have this HP Surestore CD-Rom Server Tower that I would like to upgrade with DVD-Rom drives but I do not have the part number for the drives that is required to order them does anyone on here have a clue as to what the part number is for the individual drives? They are 50pin scsi 2 drives. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My number is 813-988-0434 or email Rob.Tozier@icwmaps.com

Re: HP Surestore J3278A
Hello Rob,
I do not think that is possible (looking at it from a support perspective) the firmware does not accept DVD drives. I was able to track down the partnumber (J4152-71001)
for the DVD roms but it is stated that they are for the J4152A. Check on http://partsurfer.hp.com

Re: HP Surestore J3278A
ROB,
I found a couple of DVD drives for the J4152A in our storage. If you like I can send you one to try if they work in the J3278A tower. Shoot me an email if you are interested. Just remove the *NOSPAM*
