Nas 1200S missing OS after replacing first drive
A week after receiving a harddisk failed . After rebooting the raid 5 failed and was ofline. I re-activated and after 15 hours rebuiling the disk was online, but the error still exist. The strangest part is that the error is being duplicated on the other disks.
Because our network is now extremly slow, and once in a while i need to disconnect all user for getting it working again, I decided to replace the disk.
Wen replacing the first disk is says," Missing Operating system". I got scared and replaced the old drive.
What's wrong.
