Re: NFS mount in Windows 2008 SP2

I have looked at this already.
my system looks like it passes the userid but not the password. When I clikc on the failed drive it presents me with a Gui with the userid in place. When I put in the password I can do all the reads, writes, creates deletes that i need.
I do the net use /persistent:yes then I do the mount -u:id -p:passwro. the ip:/rootdir/data dir the a H:
that is fine so long as I do not logout or rebbot.

Re: NFS mount in Windows 2008 SP2

seems more an authentication issue than pure NFS problem
how does work you authentication (AD/local
do you map locally SFU/Windows accounts ?
may be events system and application should help you

Re: NFS mount in Windows 2008 SP2

I found out that you have to login with the SAME AD account that is set up on the NAS!
I was using my account and trying to mount with the Account that was setup in the NAS and AD.
It only works with the Same account mapping the drive as what is setup in Both AD & NAS.
Persisten now works just fine!
