Read data files from HPC1537A tape drive
Hi,
I have some big files on 4mm 60m tapes. I want to copy these files from the tapes to my HDD. I have HP C1537A in my windows server. I have L&TT installed but there is no option to read files from tapes. Can someone let mw know how I can read the files in the tape. I'm not trying to restore files. So Backupexec route won't work. Also in backupexec program, there is not read tape function.
thanks

Re: Read data files from HPC1537A tape drive
It always depends what tool was used to write data onto the tape.
You need to use the same tool to read the data.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
