1/8 Autoloader -- is upgrade from LTO-1 to LTO-4 possible?
I have a 1/8 Autoloader manufactured in early 2004 that still works perfectly, except I've outgrown its capacity. Is it possible to upgrade it by replacing the LTO-1 drive with LTO-4? If so, what's needed?

Not possible on G1 autoloaders you will need to do a trade with HP.

It is not a support product.
You would have a hard time finding the drive code that works with this product.
Yes physically it would work.
If the drive connection to the library cable plugs in and you can find a library ready version of the code it might work.
Standalone drive firmware would not work.
Though I have seen LTO3 versions of this for sale on Ebay.
