Backup fails with I/O Error
Trying to run backups with tape library (HP MSL6030) Ultrium-2 SCSI. After each attempt it fails with an error: Final error: 0x45d - The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.
I have updated drivers and firmware. Diagnostics are good. It will usually copy about 6GB before failing. Any ideas what might be wrong? I suspect a hardware issue. Many thanks.

Re: Backup fails with I/O Error
I had what sounds like a similar problem with a stand alone SCSI drive. It would back up 10+GB then fail with I/O errors.
Its a while back now but I seem to remember it was either the SNMP or one of the HP Insight services that was causing the problem, I'll try and find out and post details.
