Backup job continues for hours on end..

Hi,

we use Dataprotetor 6.0 all patches applied.one of servers has 300 GB data that consists of thousands of separate file.

when we backup this data, job continues for hours on end.11-12 hours.

what is the method to backup data like this form??

Hi,
its a pain of Windows OS. Its performance is far better with large files. So if it is possible to zip the files into the larger files before backup or use an image backup this should improve the backup speed
the pain is one part of the reality
