Hi,
Does you backup software see the tapes as some other type with a max size of 40GB?

Re: can backup only 40Gb on 200Gb formated tape

Hi!
Backup software see the correct type of tapes.
When i want to format a new tape omniback says that default medium size is 102400 (uncompressed). So the compressed size should be aprox 200000. Some old tapes has full recorded size aprox 130Gb. It's normal. When I add a new tape, format it with default size (102400) or with custom size (200000) omniback said that it's OK. But when I make backup on this tape omniback writes there less than phisical capacity (100Gb) and says that tape is full. So I have full tapes with 40Gb or 60Gb, but as I understand omniback must write aprox 100Gb (uncompressed capacity) or maybe a bit more.
