Can I use Colrado Back-up II v 9.1 w/ ext. HD?
In a moment of weakness, after struggling for days trying without success to reinstall my old Colorado 8GB tape drive, I put an external HD on my credit card yesterday.
Since I already know how to use the Colorado Backup II software, and have a number of back-up jobs already created in that software, I'm wondering if I could use it with my new external HD.
If so, when I install the new external HD, will it automatically show up in the Colorado Back-up II list of devices?
Or will I have to do some tweaking to get the HP softwared to see the new drive?

Unfortunately no. On the plus side, the windows built in back up app will work fine for you so you don't need CBII
