Can't eject cartrigde from tape msl2024

Hi,
I have put inside two cartridges, which are located in Right magazine. I can wright without problems. I can also move the cartridge in different slots. I have a problem when trying to eject out the cartrigde. I move it into the mailslot. The move is done without problems, but after when i try unlock mailslot is saying Unit is busy. After it move the tape again to the revious slot from th mailslot.

Can you give some help to eject the tape.

What backup application are you running? It may have the library locked as well...

Yes, RIchard is correct.

Stop the backup Services and then on the OCP, you can UNLOCK the MAILSLOT and that should help you in ejecting the TAPE...

Depending on the backup application you may try to unlock the mailslot from there too - if a mailslot is configured at all. Check from the web interface.

Thanks, you were right. I closed the service and now i can eject the tape.
