can't make restore out of the original server

i can't make restore from tape LTO4 out of its original server, if i want to make restore to different server the tape is ejected automatically , any one can help me pls?

I need more information. Which backup application? Is it the same application on both servers? Which operating system? Is it the same OS on each server? Which physical tape drive are you using on each server?

thanks for your response,
the os on both servers is windows server 2003 enterprise edition , using ntbackup as babckup application , using HP ultrium LTO4
