Hi Guru's!
Ive a couple of hosts where Command View TL 2.30.00 is installed, and need to be removed - BUT - the "Change/Remove"-function from Control Panel fails every time I try, with these errors:
"Could not stop CIMOM Service - Could not find the directory!
"The SMI-S Tape Provider did not uninstall. Since the Tape Provicer uses CVTL files for the CVTL uninstallation cannot continure util Tape Provider is uninstalled.
Please launch the Tape Provider uninstallation from the Add-Remove Programs applet."
...the last one is, of cause, not available n the "Add or Remove Programs".
Any ideas?
Thanx in advance.
Yours
Danny

Solution
Hello Danny,
I have encountered the same problem my self, and the workaround was clearing some entry's in the registry.
There is a official document on how to un-install CVTL.
I have attached this one.
Hope this solve's your problem,
Regards,
Erik
