Hello,
I have a Tape library that is intended to provide archiving for three differen servers each connected to a dedicated tape dirve in the library using FC HBA ie each server is going to use a tape dirve and a logical library to push archives directly to the tape library ((on different times not 3 servers all together)) see the toplogy attached to have a better understanding.
is this configuration of the library aplicable or not ??

Re: Connecting 3 servers directly to MSL4048 tape library
You can partition the MSL4048 into 2,3 or 4 logical libraries, but each needs a drive.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
