Connectivity error running HP storage tools

I have an HP DL360 G5 proliant 1u server and I have just installed a HP SC11Xe Host Bus Adapter and connected an HP ultrium 2 448 1u rack storage.

Problem.

Whenever i run the hp storage diagnostics connectivity test. it fails and as a result backup exec for windows 10d fails with invalid function when trying to perfrom a quick erase or change label. pls help

Try reseting cables and make sure your driver is from symantec corp.
