Converting internal LTo7 To External
Hi,
we do have a couple of standalone Internal LTO-7 [HPE LTO-7 Ultrium 15000 Int Tape Drive
Prodcut No: BB873A ] mounted and working well
my question is is there a way to make the a couple of them external for example connect them using standard USB ? instead of mini SAS connection cable ? what are the required part numbers ?

USB is not fast enough.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Converting internal LTo7 To External
Newer LTO drives only have SAS or fibre channel connectivity.
Hope this helps!

Torsten.
