Data protector adds remote administration machines as 'offline Machines'
Hi,
Situation:
I have HP Data Protector Express Software, Single Server Edition. Installed on Host (server 2003 R2) with the Single Server Edition License. For remote administration the above software is also installed on 3 destop machines with the same license.
Problem:
The desktop machines used for remote administration of the backup server keeps being added as offline machine. Often backups fail with the status: Error 1004: Invalid object ID
Is this behavior normal? Can I use the software on the desktop for remote administration?
Thanks in advance,
Joost Brenters
