Data Protector Express Single Server File Not in Database
We have an installation of data protector single server. The file that we need to recover is not in the database but I believe it is physically on the tape. Any way to make the software read what is actually on the tape? Is there a manual that I can get somewhere? Any help would be GREAT! (I'm afraid I may have erased the file from the database somehow as I looked around for the right file). Thanks, Bob.

Re: Data Protector Express Single Server File Not in Database
If you think you have a tape that contains the backup, you can try importing the tape. This will re-read all the files from the tape back into the catalog.
