Data Protector License Expired
I purchased a SDLT600 with rx6600 few months ago. With HP engineers on site installation and service, we tested all software are running just after the installation. However, now, when I run the Data Protector Express software, it tells the license is expired. What can I do? I suppose the HP engineers should install all software properly during the installation stage as they are got paid. So disappointed about the HP Service.

Re: Data Protector License Expired
Hi,
The default evaluation period is 60 days. You can generate a license at https://webware.hp.com using the Order number of the tapedrive. This license comes free with the tapedevice.
The expiration was already announced in the Data Protector notifications, but I can imagine you missed these.
I think proper system integration should have included this setup, but apparently it was forgotten.
Good luck!
