Data Protector Schedule Backups not running

Hi All,

 

I've installed HP Data Protector Express Basic v5.0 at a client's place and scheduled to perform 1 full backup every night.

 

They have 5 Tapes - one tape per each Week Day.

 

For the 1st Week, the backup ran perfectly from Monday to Friday.

 

Starting 2nd week, the scheduled backups were not starting when the same tape for each specific days were not starting.

 

However, the backup job runs when started manually.

 

Is there any specific option that needs to be selected for the backup task to run on the same tapes?

restart the data protector services or try running omnitri -start.  (omnitrig starts the scheduler)

Data Protector Express is a completely different product. It has NOTHING to do with HP Data Protector Software. You may get a faster feedback posting in the Storage forum.
