DL380 Gen10 don't detect 6250 External Tape Drive

I am trying to use new HPE StoreEver LTO-6 Ultrium 6250 External Tape Drive (EH970A) on HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10, with controller HPE Smart Array E208e-p SR Gen10, connected with a cable HP 716191-B21.
But, Windows Server 2019 (2016, 2012 R2 try it all with no success) don't see the tape drive.
I install HPE Library and Tape Tool 4.30, Smart Storage Administrator, HPE LTO Tape Drive Drivers
Tape Drive in status Ready.

But in Device Manager still no Tape Drive, and no Tape Drive in HPE Library and Tape Tools.

What am I doing wrong?

Re: DL380 Gen10 don't detect 6250 External Tape Drive

According to the support matrix ( ). The E208e-p controller should support the drive. Make sure you're using driver version and firmware 2.62 for the Smart Array card. The cable is the correct cable listed, and everything you mentioned in your post looks like it's supported. Can you see the drive in POST during boot up? Have you verified the drive is powering up OK? Has this drive worked when connected to any other host?

Everything you have should be supported and work together, so we'll need to troubleshoot a bit to see if something either isn't connected correctly or configured correctly. It's also possible there is a faulty part somewhere in the configuration.

Where i can see tape drive it in POST? Can't find where is this information. In System Utilites / System Configuration, on E208e-p section no tape drive, as well as in Smart Storage Administrator.

Drive power on, LED Ready is ON. Drive installed accroding to HPE StoreEver LTO-6 Ultrium 6250 Tape Drive - Installation (
