DLT 7000 Problems
My DLT-Drive suddenly started to play up.
Suddenly during a backup session all lefthand leds came on, then the right-hand in sequence together with one beep for every led lit up.
Now it does the same directly when I'm rebooting.
I did a support ticket, when it happened the first time

Re: DLT 7000 Problems
hi,
there are quite a few reasons for this behavior.
1. There could be a chance of the medium used got cut in the middle and the drive is not able to continue with it, so the drive has to be replaced or the tape pieces has to be pulled out manually. or
2. there could some power problem, if it is internal drive try to connect with different cable. if it is external drive change the power chord used and try.

Re: DLT 7000 Problems
Well, I re-connected the power, and for now, it does not beep or do anything.
Could be the power connection got loose due to vibrations, I'll see what the future holds
