DPE 3.5 sp2 Restore Issue

I am using a HP 1/8 autoloader with a ultrium 920 scsi drive. While attempting to restore files from a tape backup, the software loads the correct tape, seeks through the tape and then unloads it back into storage without reading the files. It then stays at idle and the job continues to run without error for hours. Any ideas ?

Hi,

Did you try selecting the data from " Media Content" after drilling down to the specific media from device & media Tab?
Was the backup job successful when you backed up the data you are trying to restore?

Stop DPE service go into C:\Program Files\HP\Data Protector Express\config\dpconfig.ini

Save this change and WITHOUT starting DPE service open DPE wait till database gets repaired and try the restore again.
