DPE Service not running
I have DPE 3.5 that came bundled with my HP Proliant, on Windows Server 2003 SP2. Up until recently it's been working fine, but now the DPE Service isn't working, so my scheduled backup jobs aren't getting run.
I have the service set to start Automatically, but it doens't appear to be starting. If I try to start it manually, I get the following message:
"The Data Protector Express service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performace Logs and Alerts service."
The help files within DPE3.5 say that the message should be "Start Pending", and the service status should be Started.
I don't really want to just leave DPE open all the time, how do I get the service to stay started again?

Re: DPE Service not running
Try upgrading DPE to SP2
