DPE6 Windows 2008 R2, backup Files error= erreur 64: INtrouvable

Bonjour,

hi,

the Error 64 basically is a communication failure between the Data protector express software and the tape device you are trying to use.

-- if you have a HP tape drive that you are using for backups, try to run the Library & tape tools of HP and test the drive to confirm.

-- in the DPX GUI check if you see the device entry with a " yellow Exclamation " mark !. if there is, then right click and delete that entry, restart the DPX service and the drive should come up good after that

Regards

Raj
