Ejecting a stuck media
Hi Friends,
We use omni data protector for backup. We have two drives, and there is a media stuck in one of the drives. When i try to move it using uma utility (move D1 S31) it gives me the following error:
--------------------------------
/dev/robot> move D1 S31
move: Media load or eject failed.
/dev/robot>
--------------------------------
Kindly advice how to unload the medium from the drive.

Consider to tell us more about your hardware (drive/library type)...

Hi Ashish,
If you are using the hp standalone tape drive then you can try to eject the media by pressing the eject button for 30 sec.
