Enabling Barcode reader on AF204A

Hi I have HP 8 SLOT 2U Autoloader model AF204A, by default it does not have barcode reader, I have installed a new barcode reader,
In the console menu i dont see any configuration related barcode, so how do i enable the barcode.

I don't know this device well, since I haven't worked with one for years -- but have you tried going in to the backup software and seeing if you can enable barcode support for the autoloader there? That may be all it takes.
