Error on device\scsi\nfrd9601
Hello,
I´m experiencing problems with an Ultrium LTO2 external backup drive for 2 weeks.
It´s attached to an IBM Server XSeries 235 model 8671-4AX via an Adaptec SCSI Card 29160 Ultra160 SCSI card and the running operating system is MS Windows 2000 Server with SP4.
The message posted in the System error log is :
"The driver detected a controller error on device\scsi\nfrd9601"
The software used for backups is BrightStor ArcServe Backup 9.0 (build 2200)
When the operator tries to launch a job (backup), the system halts unexpectedly and it reboots.
That´s strange because the unit was working fine and suddendly it started to behave this way. There´s no additional hardware installed and the SCSI cables are properly terminated.
Any help is welcome.
Thanks in advance and have a nice day.
