Error with storageworks 232 external

Hi.

I use the StorageWorks 232 tape drive with FreeBSD and bacula.

This week my backups didn't finish I still don't know the issue, but I have this info, hope u could give me a clue:

First, went I run this command I get this:

mt -f /dev/nsa0 status
Mode Density Blocksize bpi Compression

---------available modes---------
0: 0x40 variable 0 0x1
1: 0x40 variable 0 0x1
2: 0x40 variable 0 0x1
3: 0x40 variable 0 0x1

What is the meaning of this info?

Is HW, cable or cartridge issue?

Next, I want to re-use cartridge and get this:

mt -f /dev/nsa0 rewind
mbx-bacula# mt -f /dev/nsa0 weof
mt: /dev/nsa0: weof: Input/output error

I will test the utilities just need to run inside windows and let u know.

I have try with cart but same issue.

Thanks!!!

Eject, load works without a issue.
