ESL 712 and CLI

I hav a new 712. Is it possible to use the CLI to set up "Secure Manager" so my HP-UX machine can see the drives?

you should use Command View TL, with a license for secure manager.

Hi Mark,

we talked about this earlier - you should use a PC with IP accesst to the library and use commandview TL or see the manual I posted in your other thread. Commandview will be easier to use.

I have informed management of all the comments. I have also told them they need the software, an IP address for the TL.

Thanks very much for all the help this forum has given me, it has educated me and let me show mngmt that there are other things needed before the server can see the drives.

It is now in thier ballpark.
