Hi,
Has anyone come across issue's when first powering on their ESL G3 Tape library. The library states "the front door switch hardware in module 1 is open". All doors are closed and locked. The only thing i can think of is the touch sensor at the top left corner isnt making enough contact.
Anyone got any idea's?
Thanks

SolutionHi
I have had this with the i6000, when i looked at the door i saw the bit that goes through the white sensor was bent back so it wasnt pussing the senor swotch in far enough. when i put a screw driver through the sensor the library came ready as normal.
you may just need to bend back the metal on the door itself
