External Tape Drive HP Storage Works 230

Hi,

I need to connect this tape drive (HP SW 230 external) to a server ML570 G2, this server has a card Adaptec SCSI Card 29160LP (Ultra160).

The tape drive is Ultra2 SCSI...

Is compatible the SCSI Adapter (29160LP) with the drive??, i have a VHDCI SCSI cable also...

I need your opinions please...

We do not have compatibility information for the 29160, scsi wise it should work, but from go/connect the one tested are

374654-B21 - Single channel Ultra320 SCSI HBA G2
268351-B21 - Dual channel Ultra320 SCSI HBA (Retired)
284688-B21 - Dual channel Ultra3 SCSI HBA (Retired)*
