externel tape drive 3280 in linux
Dear all,
i have installed externel tape drive 3280 in redhat linux 5.
but currently when i am performing backup, it is very slow. there must be somthing wrong. it took LTO-5 tape almost 7 hours to copy a 150GB data…where as other LTO externel drive on another server can copy in 2 hour. what are the things to check.
i did not load any driver. the device is detected as st1 in dmesg.
it is new tape drive. i booted the server after powering up of tape drive.
thanks once again
