How can I find Factory Password of LTO7 EXT Tape Drive.

I assume you are talking about LTT?

Why do you think you need it?

I want to reset the device to its factory settings in LTT. A window pops up and ask for factory password.

Can you tell what settings you made that you want to reset?

I think there are no options ... reset may only affect libraries, not standalone drives.

to downgrade the firmware. I have experienced some difficullties after upgrading the firmware. it is not detecting any SONY media which i have data on it.

What version of firmware and LTT do you run now?

With a current LTT version no password is needed.

Where did you get this file?

It doesn't look like a valid HPE firmware file.

J4D1 is the latest firmware.
