Faulting application dpwingad.exe

I'm having trouble with Data Protector Express 3.10 sp2 with a HP Storage Works 72 USB. OS windoss Server 2003.

After a scheduled job the Data Protector Express terminates. When i look in the event viewer i get the following descripting:

Faulting application dpwingad.exe, version 3.10.2357.0, faulting module dpwinsup.dll, version 3.10.20357.0, fault address 0x00017872.

This is very inconveniant, because for the time being i cannot run any jobs scheduled.

Can anybody help me and give me a solution?

YOu are using a very old version of Data Protector Express. This and many other problems have been resolved in latere versions.

You can upgrade to version 3.5 Service Pack 2 at no charge. It is downloadable from http://hp.com/go/dataprotectorexpress

I have installed the update, rebooted the Server and everything seems to be working fine.
