Silly question, but after an hour of searching, I could not locate the new firmware of HP StorageWorks 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader.
Can you post the link, please.

Not knowing which tape drive or OS you have, I can't get more specific than this:

However -- have you considered trying to use Library and Tape Tools to do the update? It will automatically grab the right firmware and install it for you. See the download link under "value add software" from http://www.hp.com/go/tape .
