How do you remove tape drive configuration after tape drive removal from library

How do you remove tape drive configuration after tape drive removal from library

I have two HP StorageWorks MSL 8096 tape libraries. Top unit has two tape drives and the bottom unit has 4 tape drives.

 

I have now moved bottom unit tape drive #4 to top unit #3 position. So now 3 tapes drive in each.

 

However the Tape drive information of the remove drive #4 still remains in the bottom unit.

 

How can I removed that configuration information?

 

Now after upgrading to the latest firmware Tape Drive #4 is now discovered to be back in the bottom unit according to L&TT.

Have you yet tried a factory reset and a reboot?
That should usually do the trick.
