Yuo can manually take out this cleaning media and try with a different media. If the maximum usage of the cleaning is completed we can see this kind of a behavour. Try using a new cleaning media and assign a cleaning slot from the backup application and insert this cleaning slot from that slot. Your backup application should be able to track the life of the cleaning media.
