How to enable hardware encryption with the LTO4 drives
I have the MSL4048 with 2 1840 drives. I am using Symantec Veritas Backup Exec 10D for my software.
How do I enable the hardware encryption with the LTO4 drive? Does Veritas manage the AES keys or do we need the HP Data protector software to accomplish this?
Thanks,
Brian

Re: How to enable hardware encryption with the LTO4 drives
I don't believe Backup Exec has released support for the LTO4 hardware encryption yet. The HP solutions that is available for LTO4 hardware encryption is Data Protector 6.0 with the latest patch bundle.
