How to see the *real* space that a backup object takes on a tape
Hi all,
in the DP Manager GUI when you open the "Devices and Media" context and mark a tape you can see all the backed up objects of this tape.
However, if a backup session spans more than one tape you can see an object that needed to be written to more than one tape on every tape that it was written to - unfortunately with it's complete size on each of the tapes.
Is there any way (omnirpt /something?) to see the *real* size that a backup object takes on each of the tapes that it has been written to?
Example:
Object X is 100 GBytes big and has been written across 2 tapes. DP Manager will show you 100 GB on tape 1 and 100 GB on tape 2 as well, although 90 GB may have been written to tape 1 and only 10 GB to tape 2.
I'd like to have a report that shows me the 90 GB and 10 GB figures respectively.
Is there anyone out there with a good magic spell?
Kind regards,
Frank
