HP 1/8 G2 Tape autloader - How to disable Administrator password

Please let me know the process to disable administrator password so that we can Release the magazines without having to enter the password.

I do not see any option to disable Administrator password in RMI .

Hi

go to configuration in the RMI, within the system tab there's an option called "Magazine access using front panel" disable this.

Without a password at all you cannot access the web interface.

 

AFAIR you can configure using the front panel what operations are password protected, should be in

Operations > Enable Library Password Locks
