Hi, I have a question with respect to the compatibility of a tape unit HP C4317A. Whereupon Operating system is compatible east product? Nonencounter in any side the information.

not sure what you mean, because that product is an enclosure where you can install Tape drives or DVD
These components are standard scsi devices and should be recognized by the majority of the OS

Mmm, when I try download the drivers only found drivers for unix OS. Unix only works with hp 9000 right??

the product number you wrote is only the empty box

you should tell us what module is inside the box

you may have one or two disks drive, DVD or DDS tape drive

based on what you have in that box, you may need or not drivers.

in any case disk and dvd probably are recognized by all the OS natively

the tape drive only may beed drivers based on the application you want to use, but you should search the drivers for the DDS products not for the box (and we have drivers for all the OS)
