HP DAT 72x10 Autoloader under SLES9 mtx problem

We used mtx program to load/unload DAT tapes with HP 72x6 DAT autoloader. We now have an HP DAT 72x10 and mtx commands all say 'READ ELEMENT STATUS command failed' whatever be the command (status, load, ...).
Manually loaded tape can be written and read with echo,mt and cat commands for instance.

Sorry, problem solved , a tape was already manually loaded..
