Re: HP Data Protector Express SSE Support for Windows Server 2008 R2?
i tried the assign drive letter to system reserved partition and even after a reboot no result.
my setup is 1840 sas on a physical server 4,0SP1 all licenses installed and backupdomain created.
installed on virtual exchange 2010 server and a file server.
when i attempt to run a job with servers other than the local media/tape server in it the job ends in seconds with:
error 2 end of data.
my first time using DPX and i dont have good things to say about it i'd rather be using symantec BE 2010, but im limited to this for now. also chasing HP to get me my new 5.0 certs/serials so i can upgrade.
you wouldnt believe how little info there is on this offer internally in HP. even the support IVR option for DPX and DP guys once you get thru to them have no idea and just open a case..
google for HP PDF "4AA0-7937ENW.pdf"
