HP DATAPROTECT LABEL REUSE

Hi All

I have a question to ask regarding REUSE OF AN EXISTING OLD HP TAPE LABEL.The tape I am not going to reuse,I just want to take make use of the Barcode lable of the tape.

Can anyone guide if resuing it is ok or not? 

Currently we are using LTO 6 TAPE IN HP DATA PROTECT. 

Is it possible I can remove the barcode label from the tape and use it in  new tape?

I would suggest you to always use new barcode labels for the ISP software to function correctly.

It is not recommended to remove the barcode label from the tape and use it in new tape.
