Re: HP StorageWorks e1200-320 cabling issue
The drives connected to the NSR are accesible through fiber channel. And you need to configure the mapping on the NSR web interface.
The SCSI cabling is done going from one NSR port to a drive, and finishing with a terminator.
Port on the NSR - bottom port on library controller - top port on library controller - top port on drive - terminator on bottom port on drive.
The other port on NSR - top port on drive - terminator on bottom port on drive.

Re: HP StorageWorks e1200-320 cabling issue
I read manual about e1200-320 4Gb Fibre Channel Interface Card. I saw the defaulr IP of Ethernet interface is 1.1.1.1/24, i put my computer ip is 1.1.1.2/24 and connect Ethernet cable to e1200-320, but i cannot access to e1200-320 by using http://1.1.1.1 , i cannot ping to 1.1.1.1 too,
I try to use serial console to e1200-320 but i cannot access too.
Does my e1200-320 is damage ?

What serial speed did you use?
Hope this helps!

Re: HP StorageWorks e1200-320 cabling issue
- FC cable into FC port
- NSR port 1 -> lib ctrl -> drive 1 -> termination
- NSR port 2 -> drive 2 -> termination
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
