HP StorageWorks MSL6000 Tape Library connect to a MSA2000 and a backup server

Hello,

 

I need some information about connecting a HP StorageWorks MSL6000 Tape Library with a MSA2000 and a backup Server.

also need I some information about how to config it.

You need to connect both (disk array and tape library) to the server, don't connect the library to the array.

Once the server can see the disks and the tape drives, you can configure your backup application.

I have connect the MSL 6000 to a fibre switch also the MSA 2000 and the backup server But i can't see the in the server the MSL 6000. so I can't configure my backup software.

Did you create a mapping on the NSR in the library?

Did you adjust your zoning on the switch?

Where can i find the hostname that i can add in the NSR mapping?

And how to edit the host with the:

You need to get the servers WWN and add it to the NSR's mapping table.

How do i get the PortWWN hi  and the PortWWN lo

also the NodeWWN hi and the NodeWWN lo 

and the host ID in hex

 

I tried to find out with the comand fcinfo but i can't find it

 

the only thing that i can find is:

 

There are 1 adapters:

this is from the server.
