HP StorageWorks Ultrium 960

Hello. This is the first time I'm working with tapes and so far it's not going very well.
I bought a 960 ultrium drive to a friend of mine (maybe that was the mistake in the first place). he guaranteed it was brand new and it does seem so (HP Tools reported 0 loads/unloads when I connected it, etc).

The first few days everything was more or less OK, except that HP Tools reported too much heat inside the drive (between 90 C/100 C)... that's a pretty high temperature, I figured the sensor was faulty or something because the drive didn't seem that hot to me...

But... what you see in the screenshot happened yesterday and it just keep happening ever since.

I'm guessing i've been screwed and something is definitely wrong with the drive?

Hello Samuel,
Pls post the Drive serial number and the Part number..
Try the Cooling test from L&TT does that report HIGH temperature as well?
Elaborate on the set up that you have there.. which server is this drive connected to thru which Card and cable(Part number) if possible.
