HP SureStore DLT1 VS80 40/80 GB Internal SCSI Tape Drive
The error message reads:
ERROR 502: Device is busy
Device is unable to accept a command. It may become able to do so with time.
Server Event logs show event id 11
The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Scsi\aic78xx1.
Computer management does not show tape drive under storage
Adaptec 2120 U320 Raid Controller
Installed HP HP StorageWorks Library and Tape Tools diagnostic , could not find the tape drive ?
RAid 5 Hard Disks woking as required.
Bad TApe drive ?

What is the drive LED status?
LTT can detect the tape drive only if the operating system detects it.

It's best not to have the tape drive connected to a RAID controller. They don't play nice together. To start with, put the drive on a dedicated HBA.
