HP Ultrium 3-SCSI SCSI Sequential Device offline and system rebooted

Hi

I have some servers that rebooted after system dump and the event log file indicated as below : could anyone help or know is there any known issue on HP Ultrim 3 tape drive that will turn offline unexpectedly ? thank you

can you see the tape drive on operating system ?

What OS, Backup software, tape Drive and SCSI controller are you using ?

Hi

Thanks for your reply, further investigation discovered that a tape drive was hung, this lead to the drive off-line. Other servers that were connected to this drive are having the old SCSIport.sys when checking that the drive is off line to avoid the damage to the Windows and its other resources server initiated a force reboot. may I know will the new version of SCSIport.sys eliminated the force reboot function ?
